Title My amazing maths Walt solve word problems using addition and subtraction I learned If sharky the dolphin chased fifteen fish today.He caught six of them.How many fish got away from sharky .9 escaped from sharky. Here is a example of my working out-the strategy I used. fifteen take away 8 makes 9 My next step is to read the problems carefully so I can get the correct answers.

Title my snake mosaic. Walt: to creat a mosaic picture using pastel and Indian ink. Success criteria. We'll know we've achieved this when. .we have used chalk to break our picture up into pieces . .our pastel inside the chalk lines in bold (dark). .our pastel is tidy around the edges of the chalk. .our tropical creature is easily identified and does not bland in with in with the background . .we have used colour effectively. .indian ink shows our mosaic pieces. Iearned you need to press hard with the pastels or it will show white spaces Next time I will put more effort into my art and work harder.

ANZC Writing . Walt-Write an ANZAC narrative . I learned that New Zealand soldiers went to Gallipoli because New Zealand was helping Britain fight a big war. I achieved my goal because I wrote what I thought and I did well. Next time I will use what I now know to help to write a story.

I learnt how to plant a seed This is a example of one off the seeds we planted oderings Yesterday. The steps we had to follow were.get a seed out off a container Get the soil, the next step was flatten it down I learnt that plants are harder then you think About plants . Plants grow in different ways and take about a month or 2 to grow . I achieved my goal because I gave it a go and now I have a plant growing at home.
